SHELTON, Conn. (October 23, 2025) – Christine Brown & Partners, a law firm dedicated to Title IX and the rights of individuals in college athletics, today announced the addition of Jennifer Milo as Legal Sports Analyst. Milo brings more than 25 years of experience in collegiate athletics and higher education and her addition comes at a pivotal time for college sports as new legal, financial, and cultural realities reshape the landscape and drive increased demand for expert guidance.
A former Division I athlete and longtime athletics administrator, Milo enhances the firm’s ability to advise student-athletes, coaches, and teams navigating these challenges. She will provide strategic counsel across a wide range of issues, including Title IX compliance, NCAA regulations, NIL issues, eligibility, student-athlete experience and coaches' contracts and compensation.
“Jennifer has a unique understanding of the dynamics of college athletics, having seen it from every angle – as a competitor, coach, administrator, and Deputy Title IX coordinator,” said Christine Brown, Founder and CEO of Christine Brown & Partners. “She understands the human side of every decision and what’s at stake when policies and people collide. That combination of experience, empathy, and integrity is exactly what this moment in college sports demands.”
“I’ve lived the challenges and the triumphs of college athletics from every seat at the table,” Milo said. “I’m excited to use that firsthand experience and understanding to help others find their way through this new landscape, protecting what’s best about college sports while pushing for a system that’s fair, transparent, and sustainable for everyone involved.”
Before joining Christine Brown & Partners, Milo spent more than a decade as Director of Athletics at California State University San Marcos, where she successfully transitioned the university's athletics program from NAIA to NCAA Division II. Under her leadership, CSUSM achieved remarkable success, capturing 18 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships since 2017 and earning 1,249 CCAA All-Academic honors. Earlier in her CSUSM career, she founded the women’s softball program and served as its head coach, following time as an Assistant Softball Coach and Academic Counselor at San Diego State University.
A four-year standout softball athlete at the University of San Diego, Milo made program history by playing every inning of every game and continues to hold multiple records.
